The AIM Advantage

Software Support
AIM’s modules are delivered with full function Driver Software written in C/C++, to support a wide range of popular operating systems and environments. Our portfolio is ever increasing in line with our customer demands and new requirements. Driver Software support includes Windows 98/NT/2000/XP, Linux, LabVIEW, LabWIN/CVI, VxWorks, LynxOS, and IRIX.
AIM’s PBA.pro™ is a new generation of Avionics Databus Test and Analysis software using a scalable, flexible and integrated framework approach compatible with AIM’s family of “Common Core” and “New Common Core” high performance test and simulation modules for MIL-STD-1553, STANAG3910/EFEX, ARINC429, AFDX/ARINC664, Panavia Serial Link, Fibre Channel, and other I/O and peripheral inter-connections and hardware.
The PBA.pro™ software runs on both Windows™ and Linux™ platforms and integrates more functions and features ever seen in one software product for avionics test, development, simulation and monitoring applications. PBA.pro™ incorporates low level databus analyzer and protocol testing features found in traditional databus analyzer products from AIM (PBA-2000, PBA3910/XP, PAA-429, fdXplorer, and fcXplorer).
Systems
AIM provides custom systems for avionics and aerospace clients requiring complete turn key solutions. Many AIM systems have been installed to support applications such as Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE), Real Time Data Acquisition, MIL-STD-1760 Stores Test Sets, Ground Loading Units, Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), and High Level Databus Analysers.
Using AIM’s avionics modules and Databus Analyzer/Visualizer software based on our standard modules and using commercial off the shelf (COTS) technology as building blocks, our System Solutions provide the most cost efficient engineering approach built to the highest quality standards which meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
Today, AIM builds systems using the new PBA.pro™ software as the building block to provide anything from a “stand alone databus analyzer” right up to a complete “systems test bench” or powerful “test and integration facility” which can be offered within the PBA.pro™ software. This approach gives our customers systems that are flexible, expandable, scalable, and open to keep pace with future requirements!
