RT Production Test Plan
General Features
The API3910-E is part of a new family of PCIbus cards offering full function Test, Simulation, Monitoring and Databus analyzer functions for STANAG3910 applications including support for the Rafale Aircraft, which uses an Electrical Front End. A Single Stream STANAG3910 High Speed and Low Speed Interface is provided by the API3910, outlined as a 'Full Length PCI' standard module. The API3910 can be used for Protocol Testing and Simulation of LS/HS Bus Controller, Multiple Remote Terminals and Chronological Monitoring at full bus load. All operations are performed concurrently with no degradation of performance in any operational LS/HS mode. As an option the powerful PBA-3910 Databus Analyzer Software for Windows is available for use with the API3910-E module, as is the ParaView Software for display of bus parameters in Engineering Units and Graphical Display.
Bus Controller
Key Features of the Bus Controller Mode are:- Autonomous operation including sequencing of LS Minor/Major Frames.
- Programmable HS Transmitter initialize Time & HS Receiver Timeout.
- Full LS/HS Error Injection down to word and bit level.
- Supports Multi-Buffering.
- External trigger input and output.
Multiple Remote Terminal
Key Features of the Remote Terminal Mode are:- Programmable RT Response Time down to 4µS for each simulated LS-RT.
- Multi-Buffering for each simulated RT, MID and Sub-Address.
- Full LS/HS Error Injection for each Simulated RT, Sub-Address and MID down to word and bit level.
- Supports Multi-Buffering.
Chronological Bus Monitor
Key Features of the Chronological Bus Monitor are:- Multi Level Complex Trigger on LS/HS Error, LS/HS Word LS/HS Data Word in Limits.
- Monitor and Capture of LS/HS messages Trigger on Start, Center and End LS/HS Message Counters.
Physical Bus Replay
The API3910-E module can reconstruct previously recorded STANAG3910 Databus traffic to the LS/HS Databus with excellent timing accuracy. Recorded data files can be selected for Physical Bus Replay to perform systems integration and test with the ability to disable any or all RT Reponses from a recorded file.
IRIG-B Time Code Decoder
An on-board IRIG-B time code decoder and generator allows synchronization of STANAG3910 bus traffic, using single or multiple API3910 modules. Multiple API3910 modules can be synchronized using one common IRIG-B time source or the on-board time code generator of one API3910 module as the reference for accurate correlation of data across multiple STANAG3910 data streams.
Physical Bus Interface
A Physical Bus Interface daughter board (PBI) provides the interface to the dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 bus and the STANAG3910 High Speed Electrical Transceiver.
Driver Software Support
Since the Driver Software resides on the API3910 module, a host Application Interface Driver software package is provided compatible with Windows 95/98 and Windows NT/2000. Host Applications can be written in MSVC, Visual Basic, Delphi, Borland C++ etc. A LabView application interface and LabWindows/ CVI Function Panels are also provided.

RT Production Test Plan
 The AIM RT Production Test Plan Software provides fully interactive and automated test facility for users requiring to run the AS4112 RT Production Test Plan Software (Protocol Only) on their MIL-STD-1553B and EFAbus Remote Terminals.
The PTP software offers full configuration of the UUT tests, print outs of test results and manual or automated execution of each test.
It is currently available for the API1553 (PCI), ACI1553 (CompactPCI), API3910 (PCI), ACI3910 (CompactPCI), AXI1553 (VXI) and AXM1553T (VXI) modules.
