AIT’s focus is to provide state-of-the-art avionics databus interface modules for embedded flight LRUs and avionics test solutions for the aerospace and defense markets. Formerly known as AIM-USA, AIT was founded in 2000, in Omaha, Nebraska. We have seen steady and consistent growth with annual sales now in excess of $10 million.

To maintain this growth and to provide local service and technical support for our valued customers, AIT has field offices in Phoenix, Arizona; East Hampstead, New Hampshire; and Dayton, Ohio. AIT also uses local authorized manufacturers' representatives throughout the US and Canada for quick response.

In July 2003, AIT started a separate design center based in Dayton, Ohio, just outside of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, for the design and development of our Fibre Channel products to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.  Fibre Channel is now used in a variety of military aircraft, helicopters, and on Boeing's newest commercial airliner, the 787 Dreamliner.
